The core four Haven members came together as a band two years ago to play their favourite songs. Before long they were writing original tunes and performing along the Peninsula and beyond.
They have plans to press two vinyl albums in 2025 with original songs that hint of influences from rock, pop, country, blues, jazz, disco and Latin. The music has all been recorded in Sidney. The Haven can be found performing at community events such as Torque Masters Car and Truck show, Canada Day at Iroquois park, Government House in Victoria, local pubs, as well as festivals such as the 39 Days of July in Duncan. Whether it’s farmers market or the big stage, The Haven has an immense repertoire of original and cover material to draw from.
Band members Peter Bacsalmasi, Natalie Foley, Don Carscadden and Keith Bjorndahl share a great love of creating music, performing, and rehearsing to make memorable experiences to uplift their audiences.
